OMG Why does COD4 still not have an admin mod???? 
Can't be that hard it uses a Moded quake engine |

I think he means for ingame admin, Damn annoying you have to leave a Program running on your PC...

Problem then is that you have to give your rcon password out to all admins  ..

No there is a Admin tool out that allows you to give 'in game admin', without giving out your rcon password, it uses the PBUcon system that is built into the Server.
it also allows you to make changes to the server without editing anyfiles or having to issue any commands...
The only downfall to it is you need it running in the background of your PC or yours and a trusted Freind.. for the ingame admin to function

And I think I'll just stay with the rcon

No you can give the admin to anyone and it works ingame with no rcon pass

| yes COD4 RCON is pain they should build a admin menu in next patch ^^ 1.8 or something that would be so great then for admins just type something like rcon addadmin ID - then they have access to the admin menu |

i use this and its a really nice admin mod and for the server spam just set up your pb to spam it
ModernRcon v0.7 <---check it out its dope

well its better then most of dam this is java based so i dunno whats seems to be the problem with running one simple program and the game if anything learn the recon codes

Well that was a bit sharp wasn't it.
This topic is about Ingame admin that you don't need to give out your rcon password for..
The problem with running a program in the background is that other admin cannot admin the server unless the program is running, or you give them your rcon password.

oh my bad didn't mean to sound mean
well since cod4 uses the same engine as cod2 or 1 and basically same code
isn't there a admin mod from one of the older cod's?

| No, you're not able to run your own server. You can start a private match and then invite the ones you want to play with. |
